Subject: Stage 3 & COVID-19 Safety Updates

Coaches, In following with our original COVID Safety and Action Plan released on June 29th, the club is happy to announce we will begin entering Stage 3 of the Green Return to Play Phase on Monday August 3rd (note that the official start to our competitive year for '20-'21 is August 1st). Looking back, the club spent 2 weeks in Phase 1 from June 29th-July 12th, and will ultimately be in Phase 2 for 3 weeks from July 13th-August 2nd. Thank you for your adherence to our Return to Play Requirements and for your honesty in reporting potential exposure during this time. There is a prominent concern among members regarding the reporting and communication of known or suspected cases. It is of critical importance each person continues to be honest regarding their contact and potential contraction of the virus. No game or practice can be that important to ignore the safety of our participants.

Per our COVID Safety and Action Plan (attached), if a person tests positive or has come in contact with someone who did, they must immediately notify organization leadership. This allows us the opportunity to properly trace who that individual has come in contact with, notify other families who may have been exposed, suggest 14 day quarantine where needed, and minimize the potential of spread that would cause us to move back in the phases or worse, pause the start of our competitive season. To date, coaches have done a phenomenal job reaching out when necessary and the processes have moved forward in a positive direction.

Please take a moment to read the attached Warminster Soccer Club Safety Expectations & Requirements updated 7/30/2020. Please share this information with your team as soon as possible - this information replaces that previously shared and will be sent separately to the representatives on the Player Safety Resource Committee to help you in spreading the word. This information will also be updated and placed on our website.

Finally, check back in your e-mail later tonight or tomorrow for an updated August practice schedule that will be shared by Jim Ryan, Director of Coaching.

As always, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, comments or concerns. Thanks!
